PrescIT Project Kick-off Meeting
10/09/2020: PrescIT kick-off meeting was held online on 2nd of September, bringing together all members of the consortium, namely the Center for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), Ergobyte, the psychiatric hospital "Asklipios", Thessaloniki Interbalkan Medical Center and University of Thessaly. Opening remarks were given by the project coordinator Mr Ioannis Kompatsiaris who is a senior researcher at CERTH-ITI and the Head of Multimedia Knowledge and Social Media Analytics Laboratory (MK Lab). During the meeting, CERTH explained the roles and responsibilities to be carried out and presented information on administrative and financial aspects of the implementation. It was a great opportunity for an update on the main project objectives and for the resolution of any question.
About the Project
In the context of the project, the partners will develop, evaluate and disseminate a Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) for more efficient, safe, standardized and affordable electronic prescription. Pilots on three different medical cases will be carried out by the clinical partners in order to evaluate the system.
Ergobyte is responsible for the design and development of the system architecture and user interfaces as well as for dissemination and communication activities. The company will also contribute by granting access to its deeply linked, meta-data rich knowledge base "Galen Medicines".
